How It Works

Funcosil SNW penetrates deeply into the pores of the substrate, creating a durable hydrophobic barrier. Rainwater is repelled while water vapour can continue to escape from the wall.

This helps prevent moisture-related problems, dirt accumulation, algae growth and frost damage while extending the service life of the façade.

Application

For the best results:

• Apply using a flooding method with low pressure (do not spray as a mist)
• Work from the top down
• Apply multiple wet-on-wet coats
• Even out excess material using a masonry brush
• Apply between +10°C and +25°C

The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and free from dust. Repair cracks and defects before application.

Storage and Shelf Life

• Minimum shelf life of 12 months
• Store in a cool, dry and frost-free place
• Use opened containers as soon as possible

• Not suitable for polystyrene or bituminous substrates
• Protect treated surfaces from rain during curing
